Art in the Time of Covid

We are thrilled to be welcoming visitors into our building for the first time in three years! Join us for SOMERVILLE OPEN STUDIO, Saturday, April 30 + Sunday, May 1, 2022; 12 noon – 6pm.

Many of our artists are in high-risk groups for serious complications from Covid.
In order to welcome you to our building we are requiring the following during Somerville Open Studios:

Masks Required
  • You MUST wear a mask to enter and remain in our building. Your mask must cover your nose and mouth for the entire time you are in the building. Persons not wearing masks properly and consistently will be told to leave and not welcome to return. This applies to ALL visitors over the age of two, regardless of vaccination status. If you cannot wear a mask, we cannot welcome you into our building at this time.
  • Artists will not be offering drinks or snacks in our studios.
  • There will be a bake sale to benefit the Happy Tails Cat Shelter in our building. You must take your purchases outdoors to eat.
  • Our beautiful green roof deck garden will be open for you to enjoy your treats or just get a breath of fresh air! We’ll even have loaner umbrellas on the roof deck if necessary.
  • Please check with artists about their comfort level in shaking hands or hugging before reaching out for contact.

We look forward to welcoming you back! Thank you for understanding the enhanced risk that we take, and respect our need to mitigating our this risk as best we can in order to open this year. We hope to see you soon!
